Scenario 1:You just have target picture:
Technique :Reverse Image Lookup.
Tools: Google Image, Tineye, Yandex, Reversee (IOS App)
How to know location of target:.
You can easily extract Someone’s location from a picture’s metadata (EXIF).
One can use Online/Offline metadata extraction tool. By simply uploading a picture to www.metapicz.com you can get location coordinates , Phone model etc.
Or by using “Foca” get a detail info from a picture.
Scenario 2: you just have Name.
Technique: Social Media & Academic Media.
Sites: Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , google Scholar ,ResearchGate, LinkedIn.
Case One: Unique Name:
if target name is unique it’s easy to Search via Google here’s how to search Name on Social sites via Google.
“Name in Double quotes“ Site:facebook.com
“Name in Double quotes“ Site:twitter.com
“Name in Double quotes“ Site:instagram.com
Etc….
In case of no results
Try to reverse Name ( last name , First name; only last name; only first name; ) if still no luck, try to covert first or last name to it’s corresponding English word. You can also use first letters of each word of name if name is lengthy.
Case Two
Common Name + other info such as ( University name, City Name, Company )Name, Common Friends etc.
Using Facebook a person could be easily located with above info.
If the target is Student (Masters. or PhD) a simple google search can reveals his/er Email , affiliated institute.
If the Target is University Student
Most of University offer students Lookup portals where you can find all the info about that person. His contact info, address , current location,year of gradation , Major etc.
For example to search any Comsats students you can simply go to following link to find him/her by name.
